Grounding and Centering This gentle somatic movement practice is designed to help regulate the nervous system, restore a sense of grounding, and reconnect you with your body in a safe, supportive way. Through slow, mindful movements, breath awareness, and moments of stillness, we support the body’s natural ability to settle, orient, and return to balance. No flexibility, strength, coordination, or prior experience is required. This practice is accessible to every body and can be adapted to seated, standing, or lying down positions. You are always invited to move at your own pace—or not move at all—honoring your body’s cues and limits. Somatic movement is not about performance or “doing it right.” It’s about listening, sensing, and building a felt sense of safety from the inside out. Each session blends mindful exploration, guided prompts, and intuitive art-making. The emphasis is on how you feel during the process, not the final product.
